For Brian is a Community Interest Company that reimagines what support for people living with dementia is.
Through learning, listening, and building inclusive communities together we create and deliver dementia support through connection and community, in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
We work with the person to enable them to live and become an integral part of their community. We create and share person-led ways to support people living with dementia feel included and part of their local community.
I love to break down the stigma of dementia to pave the way for everybody in my community to feel included. It’s generally the smallest things that have the biggest impact

Who We Are
For Brian CIC, was founded by Clare Morris and David Dansky in 2018.
It was their spirit of curiosity, desire to enable the dementia community to live active and connected lives and their engagement with their community that moulded For Brian.
David was a talented teacher, a strong advocate of cycling for all, and an experienced leader of a cooperative. He applied his bold, practical approach to establish and develop For Brian with Clare.
He believed:
“We can make places where people can move around and interact without fear, communities where people look out for one another.”
Clare, is a Personal Construct Psychotherapist (PCP) who listens to the person and is open to seeing things differently rather than assuming she knows what another person is thinking, feeling or experiencing.
“I love to break down the stigma of dementia to pave the way for everybody in my community to feel included. It’s generally the smallest things that have the biggest impact.”
Clare Morris, CEO
David died in February 2026 and Clare continues to lead For Brian as its CEO. His legacy lives on at the heart of For Brian as we continue to look at things differently, question assumptions and develop ideas together.
Active travel is central to our core work in Hammersmith & Fulham, helping us build dementia-inclusive community, one person at a time.
